Summer learning journey task 3!

 

This week Me and my friends were at each others houses Layla and Lochlan and we were at Layla's farm. We decided to make a water proof boat and put it in the river. We used sticks, flax, kohl leaves and a pink Pipe clean as a person. It was so much fun to make together. 

My favourite part was making the person. My least favourite part was attaching it together with the thin flax pieces. Next time I would use more flax so it is more steady. 

If you were to make a water proof boat would materials would you choose and were would you test it?

Today in class we were making a all year round poster. This year my teacher was holly Cheney/ Miss Chenery and It was so much fun. We did so many things that I didn't do in my previous classes. I really enjoyed this year.

Summer learning journey task 2!

 

Today for the summer learning journey I decided to do the draw a geometry. My favourite part was all of it. My least favourite part was nothing. I really enjoyed how you can use any shape a it will create a really cool tree. I choose 

to use triangles.

Summer learning journey task 1!

As the first activity in the Summer learning journey we were making flying objects. It was so so so fun. 

My favourite one is the the hoop flying object. I didn't have a least favourite part. I also liked wearing the crown and I felt so royal. Next time I would make the circles more circular so it fly's better. 

I am so excited to do another. 

I would like if these activities were more challenging. 
What could do, to challenge myself? 

Haka!

Today in class me and my friends made a poster about the Haka. My favourite part was finding all the picture. My least favourite part was writing and finding the history behind the Haka.

Merry Christmas. Today in class we did Christmas colouring tutorials. I made a cute little elf on a shelf. My favourite part was colouring in the elf. My least favourite part as doing the black outlining. It was so much fun to do all of it.

Summer learning journey teaser!

Today in class we did the summer learning journey teaser. The activity was to colour in an image of the site art colouring book. I choose to colour in the wave. My favourite part is the big wave because the colours and the shadows look really effective. I dont have a least favourite part of the drawing! It was so fun to make because you can chose any colour and any design you want to colour in.
