Raranga matihiko trip.

Room 9s Waitangi trip.

In week three of term 4 Room 9 went to Waitangi. We learnt digital technologies and also looked at the waka. Here is a story about what we did in Waiting and what we learnt and looked at.

First We walked around and looked at the wooden carvings. They were very pretty. We were also lucky enough to watch a show. There were poi and dancing. It was cool watching. We were learning how to tell stories with dancing and carvings.

Next My favourite part was the special room. In it there were green screens, robots, sculpt gl, tinkercad, paint 3D, virtual reality and stop motion animation. It was fun. I can’t wait to go back and learn more. Have you ever been to Waitangi? It’s  the best. You should go there too. We are going back with my Mum, Dad and Sister. I hope there is another show when we go back.

Last   We had fun on our Waitangi trip. There were ladies to look after us. The room was beautiful. We had mums and dads and teachers to help and take care of room 9. It was fun there. All of us didn’t want to leave. We really loved it.

I felt amazing because I was with my friends and class mates.

Dance

On the holidays I went to Kerikeri with to compete in Little Miss Far North with mum, dad and Olivia.

First I went to McDonalds with my group for dinner. I had an ice cream. It was delicious.

Next I got ready. I put on shiny red lipstick and eyeshadow. I love getting ready. It was as fun as a party.

Then I went on stage for my first dance. It was a jaz dance. I was wearing a sparkly dress. I was having fun.

Last I got ready for the next and last dance. One was contemporary and the other was jaz. I went back on stage and had more fun. Then back off the stage.

I feel lucky and special. My favourite part was my jaz dance.
