Space dog!

 Moon The Space dog!

One day there was a dog called Moon and he loved space. One day he decided to get in his latest invention, a rocket, and go and explore space. He packed some food and water and he hoped into the rocket. Moon pressed the start button and the rocket started to count down 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, blast off. He was so exited to go and explore the magic of space.

His rocket started to sound a bit weird and he looked at the petrol light it was running out of petrol, he had no clue what to do. The rocket stopped so he just stopped at the closest planet. The closest planet was Jupiter. He got out of his rocket and was thinking how to make it work again. He was stuck!

He sat there trying to think of a plan to get it working again. But then a alien comes and lands in his UFO He gets out holding some petrol in a red bucket. The Alien said¨ Would you like some petrol for your rocket¨. ¨ yes please¨ Moon said happily and he took the petrol and put it in his rocket. The alien left in a blink of an eye and space dog got back in his rocket and drove it to land. 

When it was back at land Moon was so happy. He thought to him self maybe next time I can send someone on a test subject as he went back to his house.He had a lot to improve on!

An explanation piece is answering a why or how question. 

we wrote a article about a chosen native bird and researched heaps about it. I researched about a kiwi. One interesting was kiwis used to diurnal, which means not nocturnal. 

Then we made a brochure about our chosen bird and printed it out and put it on the wall. we could do it with a buddy.

We had to make a scratch based on our native bird. Scratch is a coding site where you make stories.  I did it with a partner Layla. We hade to have lots of facts and heaps of carters. 

Easter Sunday!

Easter Sunday!

On Sunday, it was Easter Sunday and the Easter bunny came. The Easter bunny  gave me a huge white chocolate bunny, a humpty dumpy chocolate with m and ms in side of it, another white chocolate bunny with raspberry speckles in it and a Easter egg hunt with kinder eggs, kit kat eggs, caramel eggs and chocolate eggs with little m and m´s inside. Then we shared the eggs equally between me and Olivia. It was so fun to find the eggs! Then we gave honey my dog her Easter treats. We got her a oatmeal cookie with peanut butter and some meat jelly's. She loved them

Then we decided to go to the beach for a swim In front of our house because it was very hot and sunny.. So we went down and went for a swim. It was really cold. Honey also went for a swim and she loved it. we went back to the house and got changed. Then we ate more and more chocolate. We did some baking. We baked some brownies and we doubled the recipe so we had a bigger bach. Then we made the icing. They were delish! We had to wait so when we put on the icing it didn't melt the icing. 

Then we went out side. Me and Olivia went on the tramp and mum and dad did the gardening. They watered the garden and me and Olivia played crack the egg. It was so hot on the tramp and Olivia and I were sweating. We love the hot weather. Honey paled with the neighbors dog called yip. We all had a lot of fun. Then Dad started to cook dinner on the BBQ. We had sausages, stake, and mum roasted some potatoes pumpkin and kumara and she made a cheese sauce. It was so yummy! We had some apple and feijoa crumble  and vanilla ice cream for desert🍦. Then we watched some TV and then got ready for bed.

We brushed our teeth and hair and put our pj's on. Then me and Olivia sat in bed and played some mine craft for an hour. It was so much fun playing mine craft because she joined my world. Then mum and dad came and said good night and WE both went to sleep. It was the best Easter ever! 🐰🐇

 

My Flyer about a kiwi!

 

Today we were working on a flyer About kiwis. First we got the backgrounds and split the page in half, then we got pictures and then we typed up the facts. My favourite Part was finding all the pictures and the information. My least favourite past was doing it sideways because it was hard. I was a lot of fun to make!

My Self Portraite!

For the last two weeks we have been working on self portraits. First we had to take a photo and then we had to trace it on a google draw. Once we had done that, we had to delete the photo from behind and colour it. Then we added all the highlights and then it was done! My favourite part was colouring and making the background. My least favourite part was doing the highlights. It was a lot of fun!

My Favourite short cut!

 

This week we had to make a google drawing of our favourite short cut. My favourite part was making the little icons at the bottom of the page. My least favourite part was customising the rainbow background. Next time I could of made more icons. It was a lot of fun to make and create!

Kawa of care!

 

Today we were learning about the kawa of care about Chromebooks. We had to take photos with a buddy and say what we were acting out in the photo and put good or bad. Next time I could of switched places in the photos. My favourite part was acting the photos! It was a lot of fun!
