Summer learning journey task 6!

For today summer learning journey activity I made my mum and dad a card and coded a Christmas message on scratch. My Favourite part was making my Christmas tree on my mum and dads card. I didn't have a least favourite part. If yo were to make a scratch video what would it was and what would your card say!

  1. Kia ora Ashlyn,

Wow!!! These are some awesome Christmas cards! Great job completing the kick start and step it up activities!

Your interactive card is so bright and cheerful, I love the beach scene, it is very summery! Was it tricky to create the interactive part of the card?

Have you made other Christmas cards for your whanau? I love being creative and making special cards, but I didn't have time this year :(

I hope you and your whanau have a great Christmas and a wonderful summer. Keep up the awesome and creative mahi.

    Ngā mihi,
    Lauren

  3. Kia ora Ashlyn! Merry Christmas to you and your family! I just had to stop in and comment on your very creative Christmas cards which caught my eye. I really like the design of the Scratch beach scene with the gulls which captures the holiday spirit of water and fun! I am sure your mum and dad loved your inventive paper card with the pop up Christmas tree. Did you get any cards from your loved ones? We have a display in our entrance hall where we hang all our cards. I love to read the special messages from my loved ones! Have you been down to the beach this summer? I hope to go kayaking up at Grahams Beach in the North with my family next week - we like to catch fish and take a picnic with us to have on the water. Hope you continue to have the best holiday break! Kind regards, Naomi (Manaiakalani Facilitator)
